About the 2025 AEP Report
For the 2025 Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP), Drips reached out to over 1 million Medicare shoppers on behalf of some of the largest U.S. health insurance plans and brokers. Over the course of 25 Conversations as a Service AEP outreach programs, we not only delivered an impressive enrollment impact, but also learned a ton of insights about what outreach works and what doesn’t for Medicare shoppers.
We achieved:
- 100% higher conversion rate for health plans and 240% higher conversion rate for Brokers compared to 2024 AEP.
- 43% lower disqualification or opt-out rate than the previous year.
- 23.1% higher connect rate for health plans.
A few of the insights we gathered:
- Staff up on Tuesdays! Tuesday had the most transferred calls during AEP.
- Large spike in connect rate (+38.1%) during the early period of AEP, suggesting a shift in behavior where more members opted to switch plans early compared to last year.
- A noticeable drop in engagement and transfer rates close to the election, most likely due to election notification fatigue.
